A momentous day, peeps!
Hey guys,
Yes, it’s a big day for me today. I have signed off on the interior layout of Fractured!! Yeehawwwwwww! What that means is that the draft that the publisher has drawn up of everything I want inside the book – the story, the Acknowledgments (do read that, please) and Sneak Peek into Book Two (yes!!!) – they’ve laid it all out, spacing, fonts etc and sent it to me for my approval and I did! I approved! I’m happy with the layout. That means things can progress and we get closer and closer to the release date. All that’s left to approve is the designer’s book cover which they are working on at the moment. You see, I gave them pretty specific instructions as to how I wanted the book cover so hopefully they do a good job of it, otherwise they have to keep going until it’s exactly how I want it. But once I’ve approved the cover, apparently it’s only 10-15 days afterwards that it’ll be launched onto Amazon and Barnes and Noble, worldwide, plus other sites. 10-15 days!!!!! GAHHHHHHHHHH!!! 😱😱😱😱
So excited!
The other event that happened today is that I can now announce the name of the series. You see, Fractured is book one, there is more to the story….book two and three are almost completely written. I had chosen the series title but had to wait to get the clearance on that and I got that today too! Yay and double gahhhhhhhhhh! 😱😱😱😱😱😱
So, things are happening! I really hope and pray that you will get behind me and not only buy my first book but then review it on whichever site you bought it from. Reviews are SO SO incredibly important and will certainly help the success of the book. As you know, I’m self publishing, which isn’t cheap and given that, I hope that the sales of book one can finance book two and onwards. Fingers crossed, anyway! The publishing adventure begins very very soon!!
Another thing that happened today is that I realised that I need to start practicing signing my pen name! Ha! Why that hasn’t occurred to me earlier, I have no idea, lol. But when I was about to sign off on the layout, I had a moment of thinking – do I sign my real name or my pen name?! Hahaha. A delightful dilemma. 😊😜

That pic was just an announcement poster that I made for the big news of the title and pen name. I had to have a sexy couple on that poster….I just had to. Lol. But the book cover itself isn’t released yet. More exciting stuff to come, hey babe?!
