Hello everyone,
If it seems like it’s been a while since I blogged, then you are right. It’s been around  four weeks. That’s a long time for me. I must apologise for that. However you might enjoy the quiet while it’s happening because later on, when Book Two is released…..it’s gonna be noisy!! 😊😊
I’m progressing well on the rewrite and edit of book two, which has been way more challenging than I anticipated. By the way, I will be releasing the title of The Sequel very very soon….in fact, I thought I’d run a little poll on Twitter about it, just for fun.  Even if you’re not on Twitter you can still join in – just message me your answer.
To be honest with you all, the biggest challenge with this book has been about HOW to publish it. Researching and considering all the various options has taken so so much of my time. A frustrating amount. To give you an idea of what I mean….it’s not free* to self publish and there are several different ways to go about it. Each have pros and cons. Some have many limitations and will only distribute your book so far. Others will distribute far but cost you for the privilege.  Others are free to use but you give up your rights and I’m not having that.  Plus many other considerations. It’s a minefield and I have been learning a lot. However,  as we say in Australia – it’s been doing my head in. 
For me, I didn’t want to limit my first book Fractured to only being available through Amazon/Kindle. I wanted it to be available worldwide and through other resellers, such as Kobo, Angus and Robertson, Barnes and Noble and thousands of resellers worldwide. That’s what I did with my publisher Xlibris. And that’s what I want to do with this second book as well as retain ownership of my story. 
That means I have to publish the same way I did last time and that isn’t free so I have been madly saving my pennies. The royalties from book one are slow in coming too….I have to wait months and months. I need to win Lotto….so if anyone has the winning numbers I’d be ever so grateful. 😉😜  Or a spell? 🔮
That’s been a part of the delay….plus, life in general. Lots of major developments have been happening in real life that have been interfering majorly and annoyingly – I won’t bore you with those details. So I must thank each and every one of you for your patience. Bless you all. 🙏🏻😇
Meanwhile, any help you can offer in terms of recommending my book to others and reviewing it, particularly on Amazon and Goodreads, you know I’m always going to appreciate anything you can do.
