Announcing……..

Hey y’all,

Well, the overwhelming majority of you that voted in my little poll on Twitter and FB about the title of The Sequel, said  that you’d prefer me to make a big announcement and I’m not surprised by that at all. 
I was surprised, however, that a few of you wanted to take a guess at the title…..lol….really??? 😂 Whilst that would be endless fun, it would take forever ! You’d never get it. 😜😜 Never.  Actually, drop me a line if the title is close to what you  would have guessed…. But no fibbing, okay?  

None at all.  I mean it. 

I’m curious now as to what you’d been thinking it might be. 
So….. when I was about to attempt making a flyer for the new book title, I stopped myself just in the nick of time and contacted my gorgeous friend Kelly. As she has made many fabulous posters before, not just for me but for many others, I had no hesitation in asking her to step in and save – for lots of reasons, the first of which is….I’m a writer, I deal with words. I can deal with those very well but I can’t for the life of me photoshop pictures together, melding and pasting and all that other magical digital stuff. Nope, I’m absolutely useless with that. Pitifully. I can make memes till the cows come home because, you know….words. 
But pictures? Nup. 
The second of which is……she rocks. She’s clever, beautiful, witty, snarky, creative and generous. And I think she’s the bees knees. 
So she saved me and came up with a terrific flyer. Thank you Kelly ….. You rock! 

Of course, when the actual book comes out, there will be a Cover Reveal too.
Talking with Kel this morning reminded me of how much it still amazes me that I have so many wonderful friends around the world. If you had told me three years ago that I would have genuine friends that I feel real love for, all over the world who just happen to live in my computer, I would have asked you what you were smoking. 
But that’s exactly what I do have – a real love for lots of people who I regularly speak with through social media and many who I speak to via telephone as well. (Doesn’t that word somehow feel old fashioned now?). Technically, however, I haven’t yet met them, these people  who I wish daily I could hug just because. 
These friends are scattered all over Australia and the world, so far away yet the connection between us is strong. So strong that should we one day get to physically meet, it would be more like a family reunion than anything else. 
Someone once said to me that you can’t consider online people as “real” friends but I call BS on that. Maybe that’s true for most people but not for me. Perhaps I was just extra lucky somehow? But to have met a bunch of them who have become so very dear to my heart over the last three years, I know that I was blessed. 
I’m very grateful to have them in my life. I only hope that one day, they all travel to come visit me….it’d be easier that way. Lol. ✈️✈️✈️  You guys are all over the globe…..I’d be permanently jet lagged.  And broke! 😁😁  So, y’all come here, Down Under, ‘kay?
Right!!   Back to the Book Title reveal….. Ready???
